Joining a growing marketing team, this role is an exciting opportunity for a top quality Senior Marketing Executive to work with an already successful brand recognised as a leader in its field with many millions of global customers and fantastic future prospects. Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working within the commercial team, you will establish a well-developed understanding of RealVNC, its market, customers and key competitors.

The role

You will support the Marketing Manager in managing the team, including providing advice and guidance to the Marketing Executives and Marketing Assistants. You’ll be responsible for researching and copywriting high quality marketing communications materials such as articles, blog posts, product brochures, case studies, e-newsletters and sales collateral. You’ll take ownership of the delivery of marketing campaigns, including undertaking financial analysis and evaluation to assess campaign performance and delivering reports to the Marketing Manager. You’ll be involved in the development of both online and offline marketing activities, including but not limited to advertising, email marketing, PPC and social media. You’ll also take a lead in the organisation of major international trade conferences and exhibitions, which may require you to travel from time to time. You’ll support the Marketing Manager in developing the RealVNC brand and ensuring this is upheld across the company.  As part of this role you’ll also be working closely with the Marketing Manager and our PR Agency to increase the profile of RealVNC with international press. As a small and very busy department this role is very hands on and you’ll be willing to undertake any marketing projects and activities that crop up.


  • have excellent communication skills, including face to face, telephone and written communication skills
  • have five years marketing experience (previous experience of working in the IT / software industry is desirable )
  • have the ability to manage multiple tasks and take responsibility for their successful completion
  • possess exceptional attention to detail
  • can demonstrate excellent numeric and analytical skills
  • take a professional, proactive and flexible approach to your work
  • possess advanced computer skills including experience of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • have a relevant degree (or equivalent qualification) in a marketing, business or a related subject
  • have a CIM qualification (or similar qualification)


This is a full time post but we believe in a healthy work/life balance so it’s 35 hours per week (Monday – Friday), although flexibility may sometimes be required.
