We have an opportunity as a Master Data Team Leader to manage the Master Data Team within the UK Operations Sourcing and Supply PET.

In the role, you will be responsible for the delivery of master data processes within agreed SLAs to the required quality.

Responsibilities:

Pragmatic in approach you will drive excellent customer service by delivering the creation and maintenance of material master data and BOMs through the effective leadership of a team of master data associates and proactive management of processes and workload.

You will manage compliance performance and deviations in quality related to Master Data with identification of improvements to master data processes and associated systems in order to meet the demands of today and the future.  Implementation of improvements will be delivered in alignment with and to support the wider Sourcing and Supply improvement plan. 

A positive relationship builder, you will collaborate with Project Managers as a resource holder for projects requiring Master Data support ensuring demand is met for change, and balance this with requirements for BAU and improvement.

You will support the impact assessment of change on master data processes and ensure the readiness of the team upon implementation.

You will assist and embed the implementation of manufacturing excellence within the team including tiered meetings, problem solving and the development and reporting of KPIs and metrics to assess process health.

An inspiring and capable manager, you will performance manage and develop the team to ensure they achieve their potential.

Essential Skills:

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience
  • Line management experience within manufacturing
  • Deep understanding and application of Lean manufacturing principles.

Desirable skills:

  • Coach and embed Lean Manufacturing Principles.
  • Knowledge and application of SHE principles.
  • Experience of FDA / cGMP or other regulated quality system.
  • Experience of managing material master data and a sound understanding of impact on other business functions.
