User Experience Designer
About the role:
We are looking for a User Experience Designer to join our team here at CDP and help to shape the next phase of our user experience capability. Are you up for the challenge?
With a creative and broad thinking approach, you will visualise the user experience and use this to help create products that offer a relevant and meaningful experience. For this to be achieved, collaboration is key.
Working closely with early stage, design and product development teams you will develop research plans and be involved in workshops to gain a full understanding of what is needed. Then through journey maps, concept sketches, systems design architecture and wireframes you will help to bring this to life for our clients.

With the ability to inspire others, you will be an expert in all applied user experience skills and software from hand sketching, to heuristic evaluation, to wire-framing, and prototyping across analogue and digital platforms. Having been involved in multi-stakeholder primary research, and usability studies, you will be able to recognise important insights and translate them into compelling user experience concepts.
Key to this role is working with clients, whether that is in meetings or leading workshops, you will demonstrate experience of this in your previous role. You will be happy to support and lead on relevant business development activities including project planning and proposal writing.
A minimum 2:1 in an engineering, design or social science degree is required with a compelling portfolio of past work, showcasing not just a wide variety of experience design outcomes, but how you got there as well.
