Client Services Assistant (Customer Service) – full time, Copley Hill Business Park, Cambridge

At Check4Cancer we provide specialist breast, prostate, skin, bowel and gynaecological cancer screening services.  Our unique services provide access to rapid access clinics for skin, breast and prostate patients who have suspected symptoms of cancer enabling rapid access to treatment.  Our Client Service team provide information and booking assistance to our clients, whilst supporting the operational aspects of our business.  Full training and support will be provided, so experience in health care is not essential.

The role as the Client Services Assistant, reporting to the Senior Client Services Manager, entails a large variety of duties and may be adjusted to provide development opportunities for the post holder.

The basic responsibilities will be supporting Senior Client Services Manager to ensure C4C’s clients are provided with optimal service, advice and attention.

Responsibilities

  1. Answering email inquiries via the ticketing system
  2. Proactively assisting clients/prospective clients in making decisions to purchase C4C services
  3. Booking appointments
  4. Key contact for all office-related maintenance including cleaning contract and office supplies
  5. Booking travel and hotel for Nurses
  6. Answering and filtering phone calls
  7. Contacting existing patients due to be recalled
  8. Keeping the office tidy
  9. Post distribution and franking of mail
  10. Sending out correspondence using the Client Management System.
  11. Uploading medical reports
  12. Close communication with all Consultant Secretaries regarding annual leave and the chasing of outstanding reports
  13. Checking ‘out of hours’ voicemails
  14. Liaising with private secretaries
  15. Organising courier logistics, both within the UK and internationally
  16. Collating presentations; binding and printing
  17. Campaign work for all services, BreastCheck, LungCheck, ProstateCheck and SkinCheck
  18. Ensuring all ClinicKits are checked and prepared before dispatched
  19. Communicating with insurance companies
  20. Processing incoming samples against client records
  21. All other reasonable management requests.
