Account Manager

To operate as the lead contact for our WATCH & GO® online video learning subscription service, building trusting relationships with our customers, developing new business from existing clients and actively seeking new sales opportunities.

The successful candidate will feel confident about demonstrating an online service, using both face-to-face and virtual online meetings to present WATCH & GO® to prospective clients.  He or she will be comfortable with online services and be technologically aware, being able to advise clients on basic Information Technology requirements and following training, be able to discuss how the service works on both computers and via mobile technology.

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will spend most of the time based in the Fordham office, contacting prospects, presenting demonstrations online and developing excellent on-going client relationships.  From time to time, it may be appropriate to visit clients in their premises to present demonstrations of WATCH & GO® or to review a client’s use of our video programmes in more depth.


Duties are likely to include, but will not be limited to:

  • Generating sales and identifying new opportunities to grow business with existing clients and ensure clients optimise the use of their subscription
  • Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, monitoring their usage of the service and ensuring regular reviews are scheduled with each client
  • Presenting demonstrations of WATCH & GO® online and at individual client premises where appropriate
  • Following up all demonstrations consistently and rigorously to optimise demo-to-sale conversion rates
  • Setting up new accounts and new users on the proprietary WATCH & GO® system
  • Nurturing leads (generated by marketing activity and web site visits) via phone and e-mail
  • Maintaining a record of client transactions within our CRM database
  • Managing the subscription renewal process effectively and working on lapsed subscriptions to encourage clients to re-subscribe
  • Providing marketing and other support to promote WATCH & GO® through writing e-mail promotions, blogs, case studies and devising and producing new promotional activities
  • Co-ordinating with colleagues to ensure consistent excellent customer service
  • Attending and contributing to Scott Bradbury WATCH & GO® events as necessary.

  • Persuasive and proficient presentation skills, both face-to-face and via virtual meetings
  • Resilient in dealing with setbacks and assertive in communicating positively with prospective clients
  • Well organised and able to manage time and tasks efficiently
  • Energetic and persistent, with an indefatigable will to succeed, constantly moving things forward
  • Displays an air of authority, reliability and knowledge, as well as having an engaging, friendly manner
  • Comfortable with online technology and be a fast learner of IT terminology and procedures in the Learning and Development field
  • Considerate team member as part of a small tight-knit group.
