Programme Administrator (AD1124)

We are looking for a highly motivated and conscientious Administrator to provide dedicated administrative support to our Business and Biodiversity Programme and to assist with the implementation of a wide range of projects. You will be part of a team of Administrators forming a central administration hub, with functional guidance from our Business Analyst, to maintain effective administration processes and cross-programmatic consistency.

The Business and Biodiversity Programme’s focus is on strengthening natural capital in private sector decision making.

As a Programme Administrator, you will use your excellent organisational and administrative skills to support our project managers to effectively deliver the administrative aspects of their projects through:  compiling interim and final project reports, providing event management support, and maintaining and updating the Centre’s project management and Finance system, Deltek.

In addition, the role involves supporting the Programme with resource planning, responding to requests for information both internally and externally, maintaining computer filing, and general support to the Head of Programme to support the organisation of the Programme.

You will be computer literate, including excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, be flexible in approach and able to effectively manage multiple tasks and requests. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to use your initiative to make improvements. You will demonstrate a professional approach and be capable of developing an excellent understanding of the Centre’s policies and procedures.  Experience of working in a project-based organisation is strongly desirable and experience in organising workshops would be an advantage.
