We’re looking for an experienced events professional to join our Events marketing team. Our 2020 events program will see Redgate exhibiting at a variety of international events, as well as hosting our own conferences. We’re looking for a highly organised individual to be responsible for the administrative support of our events program.

This is a busy and varied role. You’ll be responsible for supporting the logistics of the events Redgate attends and sponsors, so a typical day might include working alongside Redgate’s Events Coordinator to understand what’s needed for each event, speaking with external suppliers to order swag and collateral, or overseeing and replying to emails in the various event inboxes.

You’ll need to be highly organised and great at multitasking, as well as be able to build strong relationships with people both internally and externally.

We’re looking for someone who has events administrative experience, and who isn’t afraid to get stuck in across all aspects of event management. This role is office-based without any travel to the events, so you’ll need to be happy to see the finished product of your work through the eyes of your colleagues.

The Events Marketing team is part of Customer Marketing which is a team within Redgate’s marketing department, and we have close ties with the sales departments across time-zones. You’ll need to be comfortable working flexibility and independently in a fastpaced environment where deadlines are a way of life. The ideal candidate will feel passionate about supporting a team to help them deliver world class events that create unforgettable experiences for our customers.

To apply, simply upload your CV and a covering letter telling us why you’re most suitable for this role and why you’d like to join our team.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide logistical support for all events that Redgate sponsors, hosts and exhibits at; Distribution and maintenance of Redgate’s event collateral and merchandise, as well as preparing equipment and information for tradeshow set-up to ensure successful execution.
  • Manage multiple inboxes and calendars and reply to internal and external emails in a friendly manner (consistent with the Redgate brand).
  • Coordinate with Redgate’s Travel Administrator to ensure that conference travel and accommodation is booked correctly for the right people at the right time.
  • Liaise with external suppliers to ensure that the right collateral, booth equipment, resources and swag are ordered and delivered on time.
  • Pre and post-event administration using event management software, including Eventbrite, Excel, Marketo and SalesForce.

What’s the package?

  • A great benefits package.
  • Salary is £18,000 – £25,000 depending on experience.
  • You’ll work about 40 hours a week, with flexible work time.
