SCRUM Master

You will act as Scrum Master for one or more Cambridge-based Scrum teams responsible for delivering key components of AVEVA's Engineering product set. You will organise, run and improve Scrum ceremonies, enabling and working with the Scrum teams, to help them perform optimally.

You will act as Scrum Master for one or more Cambridge-based Scrum teams responsible for delivering key components of AVEVA's Engineering product set. You will organise, run and improve Scrum ceremonies, enabling and working with the Scrum teams, to help them perform optimally.

 

In this role you will:

  • Organise regular Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives and daily stand-ups
  • Maintain and report on Scrum team metrics including progress and burn down
  • Facilitate User Story estimation by the Scrum teams
  • Lead backlog refinement activities and guide Product Owners to manage their backlogs
  • Work to identify and remove impediments, within and across teams
  • Facilitate team events and activities such as discussions and workshops as required and requested

 

Qualifications

  • Understanding of Agile/SAFe/Scrum principles and techniques
  • Experience leading a team, ideally in Scrum Master capacity
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Software Development and Test activities
  • Excellent understanding of issue management tools such as ADO/Atlassian Jira/ Microsoft TFS or similar


Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related work experience
  • Developer or tester background
  • Evidence of Scrum Master training or certification
  • Public speaking and presentation skills
