Digital Marketing Manager

Due to continued success, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Digital Marketing Manager to join the Product Strategy team

As part of this exciting role, you will have responsibility for the functionality and effectiveness of the entire digital journey from acquisition to conversion, developing and deploying effective marketing strategies for our mission critical product portfolio 

This position will successfully plan, manage, deploy and evaluate the website, digital marketing and social campaigns across industry verticals, product, corporate and application areas

Your role

You will work collaboratively with all key stakeholder within Sepura; Senior Management team, Product Management, Sales and Customer Support to drive the Company's digital marketing strategy and implementation. This role requires a highly motivated and focussed individual, with a successful background in directly managing digital media in all its forms; website, social media, digital campaigns and SEO

Your day to day

Our customer base includes many different industries and markets around the world. Our complete TETRA and LTE solutions have been developed specifically for users in multiple sectors to face their critical communications challenges

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing automated programmes using HubSpot to ensure regular and appropriate communications to our customers
  • In conjunction with team members, create integrated, multi-touch digital marketing campaigns that support product, corporate and event activities for a range of B2B market sectors
  • Assisting in setting up and delivering content and sales tools to our sales force and our partner network around the world
  • Working with the Content Executive to build and maintain an effective digital asset management system
  • Specification, design and delivery of social media content with focus on LinkedIn and Twitter for business development
  • Web traffic acquisition and handling distribution of leads and enquiries to relevant stakeholders
  • Monitoring and appropriately reporting social and market information streams using news gathering agencies and tools
  • Management of the Sepura Domain portfolio, updating as required
  • Research competitor offerings and provide competitive briefing notes

This job may involve some travelling, including internationally, so the successful candidate must have a valid passport and ideally a full driving licence. Additional duties may arise on a seasonal or ad hoc basis, or as the business requires

What you need to succeed


  • BSc/BA in Marketing, English, Business or similar field

Experience and skills

  • Proven track record in a telecommunications, technology or other relevant discipline
  • Proven experience and knowledge of digital marketing strategies (SEO, SEM, Social Media) including web analytics
  • Experience in using and development CRM and Marketing Automation tools
  • Proven product marketing experience within a B2B environment, ideally within the technology or telecoms sectors with major account and bid based markets
  • Creating and implementing multi-touch point campaigns and customer journeys
  • Producing and posting social media content
  • Managing prospect and user databases, segmenting and profiling them for appropriate campaigns
  • Budget and project management experience
  • 5+ years' experience in digital marketing
  • Technical understanding and competence in using a variety of digital marketing tools, including social media planning, website maintenance
  • Analytical: ability to make data driven recommendations and decisions based on market dynamics
  • Capable of working independently as well as part of a team and able to operate in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Understanding and practical use of digital marketing, workflow and database management systems and tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to engage with all levels of employees, suppliers and customers
  • Organised and able to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks to deadline
  • Attention to detail is mandatory; excellent proofreading and English language skills
  • A self-starter, with a strong drive and goal-orientated approach
  • Capable of working indepedently as well as part of a wider marketing team
  • Responsive and flexible attitude to change and short-term demands and unexpected activities
  • Customer focus and quality of communications is a key attribute 

Nice to have


  • Relevant marketing qualification e.g. from the Chartered Institute of Marketing CIM

Experience and skills

  • Experience in setting up CRM and/or Marketing Automation tools from scratch, defining processes and workflows
  • Knowledge of Marketing automation systems such as Pardot or HubSpot
  • Experience in the public sector and/or public safety organisations/markets
  • Setting up and managing Digital Asset Management systems
  • Experience of LinkedIn Sales and Marketing tools
  • Brand management and added value resellers
