Overseeing the general running of the building, you will be responsible for the large reception area, multiple offices, meeting rooms and the rentable seminar centre together with its audio visual (AV) facilities.
You will ensure the building is presented to the highest possible standard by overseeing and taking pride in its maintenance, security and cleaning. You will also take a critical role in ensuring the Health and Safety of the building is maintained.
You will use your excellent customer service skills to respond to the needs of the tenants and liaise with University contacts and contractors. You will need to be proactive in identifying potential issues and able to focus on finding solutions. Confident in minor maintenance repairs, including safe power tool work, you are hands-on with a can-do attitude.
You have good IT skills in Microsoft and administrative skills, and the aptitude to pick up the use of AV equipment and new IT-based systems such as access card, building management and intruder alarms.
This role is also a key-holder for out-of-hours emergencies.
