Pay & Benefits Service Partner

This is a new part time role within the HR team as a Payroll professional. To provide an efficient, effective and professional service in the Pay and Benefits team, covering eight monthly payrolls.

We have two great new opportunities within our payroll team, one full-time and one part-time |20 hours per week|. You will be working closely with the team on eight monthly payrolls for the UK and Ireland. You will be responsible for managing data, organising information on the system and collaborating with HR colleagues across different sites.

What you will accomplish together with us:

  • Inputting of payroll information on to the payroll system

  • Running monthly payrolls alongside the Pay and Benefits Service Partner

  • Logging and maintaining absence data on the SAGE payroll system

  • Assisting with the annual holiday statement creation

  • Assisting with remuneration statement creation

  • Dealing with employee queries as and when they arise

  • Calculating company sick pay and creating the relevant employee correspondence

  • Assisting with absence reporting and providing data for the HR Service Partner to conduct return to work interviews

What will convince us:

  • Previous experience of Sage Payroll system

  • Previous experience of dealing with employee benefits is desirable

  • Previous experience of Workday is desirable

  • Previous experience dealing with SMP, SPP, SSP etc.

  • Ability to complete a payroll from start to finish.

  • Previous experience of sending RTI submissions is desirable.

  • Experience of reconciliation of reporting for finance

  • Clear understanding of pension processes and rules around auto-enrolment

  • Capable of quickly and accurately prioritising workload, without sacrificing attention to detail

  • Clear, effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Good level of numeracy

  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure

  • Flexible approach to problem solving

  • Able to demonstrate confidence in dealing with employees at all levels

  • Good organisational skills

  • Able to handle confidential information

  • Motivated and enthusiastic
