Senior Production Planner

    Review demand and ensure the supply of all packaging and/or raw materials required for production (MRP) maintaining agreed stock levels and supply to our customers On Time and In Full (OTIF).

    Co-ordinate Contract Packing Operations; maintaining supplier schedule, purchase order maintenance, bulk availability and freight management.

    Ensure appropriate supplier relationship management (SRM): involving leading Capacity Review Meetings (CRM); liaising with suppliers, internal customers and key stakeholders.

    Provide regular cover for the Planning Team in any of the following areas: Materials Planning, Edition Code Control, Rhode’s scheduling, Production scheduling, Re-schedule support, UK Wholesaler co-ordination.

    Support Continuous Improvement initiatives in particular review of current processes and identify ways of improvement.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the reschedule process and evaluate customer demand to provide summary updates at the Bard Capacity Review Meetings and Supplier Relationship Meetings.

    • Create and analyse demand data and issue monthly demand schedules for key suppliers and production plans for Bard. Trouble shoot production or supply issues by liaising with other departments to assess key findings and impacts.

    • Coordinate production operations in accordance with materials, resource, and equipment availability. Closely monitor to ensure that orders are completed on time and in full for our customers.

    • Using Oracle ERP system conduct batch maintenance, establish, and review planning rules as required.

    Qualifications

    • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) accreditation or other relevant certification or experience or Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business management, or related field.

    • Or minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Production Planner/ minimum 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Production or Planning role.

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Proven experience working as a production planner.

    • Excellent Excel skills

    • Good organizational and time management skills.

    • Effective communication skills.
