Job Purpose
Working within a cross functional team producing pharmaceutical products.  Ensuring that production KPIs are delivered whilst meeting the highest standards of GMP and Health & Safety. Responsible for day-to-day activities in the Service department to meet the operational demand across Manufacturing / Filling & Packing, ensuring equipment used within the Production operation is cleaned to the required standards and maintained ready for use.

 
Key Responsibility
Communication/Team:
Providing servicing support to the Manufacturing and Filling & Packing teams, whilst working closely with the shift coordinators, ensuring equipment and parts are available and maintained to the set standards and service levels, through strong engagement and communication across the teams in order that individual and team objectives can be fulfilled.

Performance:
Showing initiative and proactiveness in improvement projects for storage and tooling maintenance, taking responsibility for the work environment in order to ensure any issues or concerns which could affect quality or production output are raised in a timely manner and effective solutions are put in place to rectify any faults.

Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP):
Ensures quality checks and documentation are carried out to maintain good quality product and that Wash Bays, Turret room and CPS storage areas are maintained to the required standards of tidiness and cleanliness using work-place management and 5S principles ensuring audit readiness, whilst accepting the security responsibilities of the operation within the service team.

Other:
Carrying out any other reasonable task as requested to help ensure that the production operations maintain supporting demand and achieve improvements in performance, quality and safety.

 

Qualifications

Education
Minimum of 4 GCSE's of grade C or above in Maths & English (or equivalent)
A level or above (or equivalent)

Experience
GMP background
Cleaning or servicing of production equipment
Process equipment maintenance
Pharmaceutical industry

Knowledge and Skills
5S, GMP, Kaisen, work-place management, Process equipment TPM
Action and results oriented
