The Community Centre Manager will play a key role in managing and ensuring the smooth running of the William Collyn Community Centre. Important aspects of the job are to develop the business; to maximise use of the available facilities; and to identify new opportunities by means of effective marketing, networking and innovative solutions. The Manager will work to ensure the Centre is a vibrant, well-managed facility that operates for the benefit of local residents and organisations.

Full-time (35 hours per week including some evening and weekend work)
In the range of £31,346 - £33,782 per annum

The Community Centre Manager will play a key role in managing and ensuring the smooth running of the William Collyn Community Centre. Important aspects of the job are to develop the business; to maximise use of the available facilities; and to identify new opportunities by means of effective marketing, networking and innovative solutions. The Manager will work to ensure the Centre is a vibrant, well-managed facility that operates for the benefit of local residents and organisations. 

The Manager will be given a high degree of autonomy and will need to be self-motivated. The Manager will be responsible for two part time staff. The Centre Manager will be managed to achieve his/her full potential within the role, with mentoring support being provided in the more practical aspects of the role. 

The successful applicant is likely to have experience of working with people and community groups in a front-facing role, organising events, running marketing and engagement campaigns as well as managing digital communication channels including websites, Facebook and Twitter. The Manager will also have experience of manging buildings/estates in a community setting.

You will need a professional attitude and approach to the management of the Centre, first rate customer service skills, a positive approach to team-working and be confident, innovative and able to work under pressure.
