KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for developing appropriate test and demonstrable experiments of/for Paragraf Sensor products.
- Be responsible for devising, proving, and writing up Application Notes along with the FAE and technical writer(s).
- Responsible for collecting customer/partner feedback and product requirements and for communication of these requirements internally.
- Devising experiments and tests that can solve real customer problems, and/or demonstrate the suitability of the product for their application
- Verify our specifications, datasheets, and technical documentation to be a real reflection of product performance
- Use learnings to assist the commercial and technical teams to continually develop the product roadmap to exploit and extract maximum value from Paragraf’s technologies
- Provide technical support and training to global sales representatives where applicable
- Act as technical expert advisor for Paragraf’s technologies, assisting the sales team with technical enquiries by providing real data and results from internal test
- Work internally with Paragraf’s technology and production teams to coordinate technology demonstration preparation and custom technology solutions for customers and partners
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with the R&D, Engineering, and commercial teams
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Education and Qualifications:
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline such as a science/ engineering/ maths discipline.
- Understanding of technology transfer processes.
- Capability to quickly grasp new scientific concepts and technologies with the ability to identify commercial potential.
- Equally as comfortable in a customer facing role as a laboratory environment.
- Fluent in additional languages would be an advantage but not essential.
Experience:
- Experience of problem solving in a commercial environment, delivering solutions in pressurised and sensitive scenarios.
- Comfortable operating in a highly flexible working environment, enthusiastic about fluid working practices with a proven ability to handle and progress multiple projects efficiently and effectively.
- Experience of working within Asian and/or US territories would be an advantage.
Skills and knowledge:
- Knowledge, and ideally experience of, working withing the worldwide electronic device industry.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Extremely strong interpersonal skills; outgoing and confident in working closely with people, internally and externally to the business.
- Exceptional team player with the ability to confidently pitch ideas, products, and concepts, irrespective of audience level, whilst maintaining target message.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and schedule, organise and prioritise your own workload.
- Ability to reflect and learn from mistakes with a drive to achieve ultimate performance.
- Knowledge of the concept of two-dimensional materials would be an advantage but not essential.
- Exposure to materials production techniques, epitaxial or otherwise would be an advantage but not essential.

- Ability to present information clearly and appropriately for the audience.
- Excellent influencing skills through compelling communication and strong writing skills in a technical environment.
