What are we looking for?

We are looking for a highly skilled and ambitious Bioinformatician/Senior Bioinformatician to work on methods development to push the boundaries of cell reprogramming. Joining Mogrify means being part of a passionate and innovative team of world experts as part of a growing company.

At Mogrify, you will:

  • Develop novel and existing cell reprogramming algorithms to expand the capabilities of Mogrify’s computational platform.
  • Work closely in a team on technical assessment, performance and improvement of algorithmic approaches.
  • Pioneer the use of novel algorithmic approaches in cell reprogramming.
  • Model high-resolution biological data to support therapeutic and technological development.
  • Improve our cell reprogramming data analytics capabilities as part of the Cell Informatics department.
  • Work as part of a larger multidisciplinary research team in new and ongoing computational platform projects.

Candidate profile:

  • PhD or MSc in Computational Biology, or a quantitative field, plus 2+/4+ years of follow-on experience, respectively (4+/8+ years for Senior Bioinformatician).
  • 2+ years of experience developing methods in Computational Biology, performing statistical inference, and modeling biological data (4+ years for Senior Bioinformatician).
  • Proficiency in R and Python, omics data analysis experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, and successfully manage complex projects against defined timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote and encourage working in a highly collaborative environment with other scientists (internally and externally).
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player, self-motivated with positive thinking and “can-do” attitude.
