Description of role: The Business Support Administrator is responsible for supporting the efficient and effective operations of the Commercial team in business-critical activities both in the private and public funded projects performed at TWI. Main Responsibilities include: Coordinate and respond to supplier questionnaires Coordinate and update departmental processes Assist in portal management Update and manage internal communications (via Grid tile) Provide administrative services in support of TWI business, according to internal procedures and using recognised software packages. Liaise with internal and external customers/suppliers, responding to enquiries and requirements to ensure a professional service, using own discretion as agreed with line manager. Maintain information management systems according to TWI standards and procedures within the functional area and produce documents in line with TWI Corporate Style Manual. Support effective teamwork within own and other groups, ensuring that incoming communications are responded to appropriately and promptly. Support the Team in preparing effort distributions, financial claim validations, invoicing and gathering evidence for claims and audits. Prioritise incoming work to meet internal and external customer/supplier requirements and to work to deadlines. Maintain commercial confidentiality. Update templates in line with Quality Manual. Contribute to improvements to procedure, cost reduction and efficiency. Description of role

The Business Administrator is responsible for supporting the efficient and effective operations of the Commercial team in business-critical activities both in the private and public funded projects performed at TWI.

  • Over 3 years’ experience in the same or similar role

 

  • Knowledge of CRM and/or accounting systems
  • Experience in information gathering for public funded claim submissions and audits.

  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills as the job requires interacting with colleagues at all levels coupled with good influencing skills
