The Role:

Reporting to our Sales Director – North Europe you’ll fast become an expert in Redgate’s portfolio of database change management and operations solutions. 

As a Business Development Rep you will be responsible for proactively prospecting into new and existing accounts using both marketing and self-generated leads. Using a variety of platforms including phone and social media you will qualify those leads to generate high quality sales opportunities within target accounts for the Account Executive team.   

Responsibilities of the role: 

  • Book meetings with existing and new accounts via call, email, social media, and marketing contacts provided
  • Identify decision-makers and buyer groups in organisations we have an existing relationship with who may not be aware of Redgate
  • Conduct high-level conversations with technical and business decision-makers
  • Research prospects and identify key contacts updating Salesforce contact and account records
  • Collaborate weekly with Account Executives, strategically planning approaches to set accounts
  • Map prospective accounts around organisational structure, people and existing technology
  • Identify business pains, objectives and related impacts on a prospect’s organisation. You will be able to hold a business conversation with a variety of contact types within an organisation – conversations that will follow Redgate’s sales methodology and establish appropriate agreed next actions.

Essential for your success: 

  • Fluent in both Dutch & English language.
  • At least 1 years experience in B2B Saas Sales
  • Commutable to Amsterdam office at least twice a week.
  • Must have technical competence to learn the diverse range of Redgate’s products and customer needs
