Finance Business Partner – Product (Cambridge UK)

 

The Finance Team is here to bring value to Redgate by providing insightful financial advice and analysis, with integrity and objectivity, to support Redgate’s key decision making processes and organisational goals. In addition, we maintain our own high standards by running lean, compliant and operationally excellent practices.

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join the Finance team. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with our Product Management and Engineering divisions, building a financial understanding of our product and solution pipeline and our engineering and solution cost structures. The role is responsible for building and maintaining solution-level P&Ls, working with Product Managers to support investment decisions and feeding into commentary of performance against budget with product insight.

  • You’re comfortable presenting to and challenging senior stakeholders within the business.

  • Prior experience of business partnering commercial functions

 

What else would help?

 A financial or accounting qualification (e.g. CFA, ACA, CIMA etc.).

Some previous experience of:

  • dealing with software specific accounting policies (licencing revenue recognition, for example) and reporting metrics (ARR, GDR, NDR, for example).
  • Experience of one or more of the following, NetSuite, NSPB, PowerBI and Salesforce.

  • Salary range is £55k-£70k, depending on experience.
  • Flexible work time with at least 1 day/week in the office (Cambridge HQ).
