Global Marketing Director, Established Oncology
This role is office based 3 days per week

We have an exciting opportunity to work in the Global Marketing Team of the Oncology Business Unit (OBU) as Global Marketing Director, Established Oncology. This role is accountable for developing and implementing the global commercial strategy for our Established Oncology portfolio and maximizing the value potential of several foundational oncology brands.
In addition, as the lead commercial members of the Global Product Team (GPT), this position will help to define the future of AstraZeneca’s Established Oncology brands, playing a key part in revolutionizing treatment paradigms in oncology.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the development of the Established Oncology Business Plan working in close collaboration with cross-functional partners
Accelerate innovative solutions to maximize commercial potential of Established Oncology brands
Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and support global Key External Experts mapping and engagement, sharing experience and insights across product teams
Develop and deliver key congress presence with a particular focus on breast and prostate cancer
Accountable for engaging with key markets to design and deliver high impact initiatives to improve patient outcomes and expand appropriate use of our medicines
Develop systems and solutions to ensure oversight of the competitive landscape for our Established brands, including new therapeutics, new formulations, generics and biosimilar
Track the business performance of our Established Brands, proactively identify opportunities and challenges to our plans and work with the GPT to propose solutions/approaches.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in science or business
Broad commercial experience and strong financial acumen
Extensive cross-functional team leadership
Exceptional influencing and communication skills
Demonstrable knowledge of key external customers including patients, prescribers, payers, providers across multiple markets
Clear examples of having designed and delivered of high impact marketing programmes, both above-market and in-market
In depth knowledge of pharmaceutical lifecycle management
Relevant advanced degree (MS, PhD, PharmD, MD or MBA)
Global In-line brand marketing for an oncology or specialty care product
Business leadership within International markets
