ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Channel Program Director for Altium in the UK, focusing on the broader EMEA region, you will play a pivotal
role in developing and executing comprehensive channel programs to optimize the performance and success of our
Value-Added Reseller (VAR) network. This strategic position involves creating and implementing programs that drive
partner engagement, sales growth, and overall market presence within the UK and EMEA.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage VAR channel programs worldwide in
    alignment with Altium business objectives.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard strategic VAR partners in alignment with Altiums business objectives.
  • Negotiate and manage contractual agreements with VARs, ensuring compliance with Altiums policies and
    standards.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to create mutually beneficial agreements that protect the interests
    of both parties.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure programs complement product releases, marketing
    campaigns, and corporate strategies.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to VARs, ensuring they are well-equipped to promote and sell
    Altium electronic design solutions effectively.
  •  Provide ongoing support to VARs, offering resources, tools, and guidance to enhance their capabilities and
    drive sales.
  •  Build and maintain strong relationships with VAR Managers, liaising between partners and internal Altium
    teams.
  •  Collaborate with VARs to understand their needs, address concerns, and foster a mutually beneficial
    partnership.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of channel programs.
  • Regularly assess program performance and VAR engagement, providing insights and recommendations for
    continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments within each region.
  • Work closely with senior management to adjust channel programs and strategies accordingly.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment between channel programs and
    overall corporate strategies.
  • Provide input on product positioning, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
  • Manage the Altium Partner Portal and manage partner deal registrations.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in channel program management, partner enablement, or a similar role within the
    electronic design software industry.
  • Deep understanding of the electronic design and PCB industry, with a focus on the UK and EMEA markets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful channel programs that drive sales growth.
  • Willingness to travel globally as required.
