What you’ll do

As the Healthcare Delivery Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving population health change. The Healthcare Delivery Partner will identify and lead partnership projects with the NHS centred around patient identification, management, and improved outcomes in CVRM.

You will be required to engage with NHS stakeholders and foster strong NHS partnership working to demonstrate improved outcomes through the deployment of tools and services. You will also deliver education to build clinical capability ensuring continued improvement in clinical practice after project completion. The Healthcare Delivery Partner will be required to collaborate cross-functionally with the regional account teams.

You will serve as an expert on CVRM disease areas as well as products within the assigned therapeutic area. By ensuring that your knowledge is always kept up to date, you will deliver educational sessions around disease awareness and ensure the safe and effective use of AstraZeneca Medicines.

Accountabilities

The Healthcare Delivery Partner role will be accountable for leading and managing NHS partnership practice change projects to completion, whilst ensuring all external interventions are delivered in compliance with the ABPI code of practice.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a bioscience subject or a professional qualification in healthcare or clinical experience
  • Project/ Key account management experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to interact and manage a range of stakeholders both internally and externally

Desirable

  • Clinical experience (e.g., Nurse, Pharmacist, Physician’s Assistant, Primary Care Physician or related scientific degree)
  • Knowledge of the ABPI code of practice
  • Thorough knowledge or experience of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Prior experience in a customer facing role
  • Prior experience and understanding of diabetes and metabolic therapy area advantageous
