Fixed-term: 18 months, potential for permanent position after training.

University of Cambridge Investment Management Limited (UCIM) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Cambridge. UCIM is responsible for the management of the University of Cambridge's Endowment Fund. The purpose of the Cambridge University Endowment Fund (the 'Fund') is to provide financial support for the University's research, teaching and other activities.

The Operations Specialist will assist the team in carrying out investment operations; managing transactions flow; monitoring and reporting investment performance of individual managers and asset classes, processing and monitoring of invoices and providing data and support for reports to the UCIM and Investment Board, the other committees and to investors.

BPP are the training provider of the apprenticeship programme. The duration of the programme is 18 months, with online teaching, coaching and workplace development study modes available. We anticipate that after your apprenticeship there will be an opportunity to continue with UCIM on a permanent basis.

This role will be primarily based in the Cambridge office with frequent days in the London office, we also operate hybrid working to facilitate home working with the agreement of the relevant line manager.
