We are seeking to attract an enthusiastic and versatile person with excellent administrative skills to make a positive contribution to our team and to help shape our key services.
We are looking for a Joint Programmes Administrator to provide general administrative support to our joint programmes, most notably our History & Modern Languages joint degree and a proposed Linguistics & Modern Languages joint degree, but also other joint programmes with Asian & Middle Eastern Studies and Classics, and prospective future programmes down the line.
This is an exciting opportunity to take up a new role supporting these joint programmes, establishing new procedures to help them run smoothly, and acting as a liaison between MMLL and other Faculties. The role holder will work with a variety of different stakeholders in the Faculty and School, but will also work be a member of the Faculty's existing team of six which deliver undergraduate teaching and examining, also providing assistance to the Assistant Faculty Manager in support of other Faculty-wide and Section-specific activities.
You will be a well-organised and adaptable team player with experience in administration, a commitment to providing a high quality service to students, staff and other stakeholders. You will be skilled at recording existing procedures and establishing new procedures, as well as managing competing priorities, and be able to move between tasks at short notice to meet deadlines. You will also work collaboratively within your immediate team, and across Faculty and School services, sharing best practice and facilitating continuous improvement.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
