About the Role:
The School of Allied Health and Social Care is building on the successful delivery of a number of courses across the allied health professions, social care, science and leadership. We are seeking a 0.4 FTE maternity cover to teach on our Paramedic Science programme. Working closely with fellow academics and clinicians you will be able to transfer your clinical experience and knowledge of assessing and treating patients to support the development of our student practitioners. Experience may be from the community, hospital, or emergency care settings.
With a degree related to Paramedic Science or relevant professional qualification and relevant clinical experience and CPD, the successful candidate will also be registered with HCPC. Experience of Paramedic Science curriculum design and of teaching at Higher Education level would be preferable. The successful candidate will be IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
