Evonetix has recently passed the milestone of 100 staff and is currently exploring options for a site extension. As part of our growth strategy, we are looking to expand the Operations function and recruit a team member focussed on Goods-In and Facilities management.
The Position
We are looking for a team member to take responsibility for two areas of our operations. This role will provide the candidate with a high degree of variety in their work serving a diverse and expanding community. The successful candidate will be part of the Corporate Team which supports the business.
Facilities management.
We are located in a modern, purpose-built facility accommodating over 100 staff. We would like to centralise all facilities issues and provide a fast response to any concerns raised by staff. The responsibilities of this element of the role will include:
- Primary contact for building management requests and emergencies

- Sourcing new contractors as required
- Keeping the service documentation up to date
Goods-In, including:
- Receiving deliveries and acknowledging receipt
- Alerting members of staff to high priority items
- Organising the goods-in area to cater for an increasing volume of deliveries
- Maintaining a stock level of common consumables, both for our general facility and scientific labs
- Goods-out activity, including specialist packing
- Receiving guests and visitors
In the short term there is the opportunity for both these roles to expand as we look to expand our premises. In the future it is likely that these roles will form part of separate functions allowing the successful candidate to focus on one area.
