If you're looking for a new challenge and would like excellent benefits, extensive learning opportunities and a stimulating working environment in return for your skills and contribution, there could be a job here for you.

We are looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) to the Director to join our warm and friendly team at the Institute of Criminology. This is a part-time (29hrs per week) permanent position and immediately available.

The PA to the Director provides efficient, effective and confidential support to the Director, as well as coordinating a range of tasks within the wider Institute.

In addition to providing PA support to the Director, the post-holder also manages internal communications, as well as Institute events and public lectures.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team and be able to build positive working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external colleagues. Being highly organised, and having a flexible approach to work, with an ability to prioritise and move between tasks as needed, is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, along with excellent computer skills are all prerequisites for this role.

On the online form, in the suitability for the role section, you should explain the reasons for your application and how your knowledge, skills and experience match the requirements of the role.

This is primarily an office-based role although there is the possibility of some hybrid working.
