Description of role
The Polymer and Composites Technology (PCT) Group is one of the four technology groups at TWI, focusing in polymer and composite materials and structures. The PCT mission is to support TWI Members in exploiting the benefits of polymers and composites in order to add value to their products and supply chains. As part of the PCT mission, a Private Technology Innovation Partnership has been formed between TWI, Saudi Aramco and ADNOC in order to expand the operational envelope of non-metallic in the Oil & Gas sector. The Non-Metallic Innovation Centre (NIC) aims to support the Oil & Gas industry in exploiting the benefits of non-metallic in pipelines and other structures that do not suffer from corrosion and are ready for the transformation of the energy sector towards more friendly sources of energy, like Hydrogen. The NIC programme consists of multi-million technical projects portfolio that focus in four technical areas:
The successful candidate should have excellent knowledge in application of non-metallic in Oil & Gas applications. Successful applicants should demonstrate
