About the Role:
Team ARU operate within the Estates & Facilities professional service at ARU and are responsible for the provision of Sport and Physical Activity for Students, Staff and members of the local community. As part of this provision, we operate on-campus Sports Facilities including Helmore Gym on our Cambridge campus. This is an exciting role in which the post holder will contribute towards the smooth running of Helmore Gym and its associated Sports Facilities.
With a range of GCSEs at A*-C grades or a vocational qualification at NVQ level 2 or equivalent, you’ll have demonstrable experience of working in a customer focussed environment. As well as a passion for sport, health and fitness, you’ll have a clear customer focussed approach with demonstrable experience of working on your own initiative and as part of a team towards common goals. The ability to communicate with a range of customers will be paramount alongside the ability to follow clearly defined procedures and basic IT Skills including the use of Microsoft office products.
This post is for 10.5 hours a week.
