The Department of Land Economy is recruiting for an experienced IT Technician to join our multi-disciplinary department. The IT Technician will be the primary point of contact for our academics, administrators, research staff, undergraduate and postgraduate students in all matters relating to IT, working as part of a larger team. The post holder will be responsible for providing first and second line support.

The postholder will be part of a larger IT support group comprising the Faculty of Law, the Institute of Criminology and the Department of Land Economy and will be line managed by the IT manager in the Faculty of Law. The role-holder will work closely with the IT team, and other members of the School of the Humanities and Social Sciences' IT community as required. The Department of Land Economy is based on Silver Street in central Cambridge. The post holder will primarily be located on this site but will also be expected to work flexibly across the Faculty of Law and the Institute of Criminology if needed.

Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment.
