Senior Project Leader – Technology Transfer

Description of role:
TWI is a world leading research and technology business, internationally renowned for its expertise in structural integrity, materials and joining technologies. TWI provides research, innovation, testing, software and consultancy services to develop new technologies, improve existing industrial processes and ensure safe and profitable operation of engineering assets. We undertake projects for clients in a wide range of sectors, including oil and gas, power generation, automotive, aerospace, and construction.
A new opportunity has arisen, based in TWI Headquarters in Cambridge or TWI’s offices in Middlesbrough. We are looking to appoint a highly motivated candidate with project management background to support the technology transfer team in ensuring the project targets are achieved in a timely manner. The candidate will report to Head of Technology Transfer and will work with the business development team and technology groups across TWI to support engagement with SME’s in Tees Valley.
The European Union Regional Development Fund supports this position. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of SME engagement for Materials Integrity Research Centre.
