Job Overview:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified tax accountant to progress their career within a large and dynamic global technology company.
In this role you will be responsible for preparing quarterly tax accounting calculations, driving forward the automation of tax processes, and assisting with the UK corporation tax returns. The successful applicant will be highly numerate, quick to learn and be motivated by the opportunity to grow within a highly impactful team.
Arm’s Tax Team have recently been shortlisted for In-House Tax Team of the Year at this year's ITR awards.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of quarterly tax accounting calculations under IFRS.
- Integral part of the team driving tax automation initiatives.
- Assist with preparation of UK corporation tax computations and returns, including R&D tax credit and Patent Box incentive claims.
- Support the tax team in providing advice to the wider finance and business engineering groups.
Required Skills and Experience:
- ACA/ACCA qualified and working in a corporate tax role.
- IFRS Tax accounting knowledge and experience.
- Hard-working and self-motivated, willing to be flexible and learn new skills that can be applied across multiple types of work.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to explain tax technical matters.
- Strong analytical skills with intelligent handling of numerical data.
- Ability to build strong and positive relationships.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- CTA qualified
- As the automation of tax processes and calculations is a key part of this role, any direct experience you may have had of this would be a big plus.
