Description of role:

TWI are an international organisation with offices and customers spanning the globe. We are seeking an organised individual to assist the Travel team, working within the Purchasing department, in providing a fast and efficient travel booking service to TWI employees.

The position requires a flexible, proactive approach, the ability to prioritise workloads in response to changing customer demands and excellent communication skills.


  • Researching domestic flight availabilities, times and prices
  • Liaising with TWI’s Travel Management Company to ensure International travel is booked correctly and providing best service to staff
  • Researching and booking hotels
  • Booking transport services for staff – Rail, hire car, chauffeur, taxi
  • Reviewing and updating where appropriate, TWI Travel & Transport policies
  • Managing the ‘TWI Approved Driver’ database
  • Account management and Invoice reconciliation
  • Negotiating rates with suppliers/contract reviews

Specific relevant experience
  • Travel booking experience
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to deal with a variety of customers
