UX Product Design Lead

Product / interaction design for AI-assisted innovation, hybrid part time  This is a rare opportunity for a talented UK-based UX expert to step up and take charge of some of the most advanced AI-assisted innovation software out there. Working in partnership with the Product Manager you’ll drive green-field development.

This role offers up to a £60k salary pro rata, depending on experience, plus benefits for a 28-32 hour working week, with office days in Cambridge or London and home working on other days. Applicants looking to work 3.5-4 days/week or 5 days of reduced hours will be considered.

You’ll have accumulated top skills in UX, interaction design, information architecture and product design across successive credible commercial projects. You’ll know your way around designing technical software for a specialist audience – not dashboards or mobile apps.

You’ll be excited to get to grips with the challenges in creating UX for an AI “copilot” to assist some of the smartest people on the planet in creating tomorrow’s technologies.

You’ll be outgoing and proactive, not looking for the next task to be handed to you. You’ll be a natural collaborator yet able to clearly express your opinions and stand for what you believe. You’ll be able to bring developers with you and appreciate the weight of UX choices vs development lifecycles.

A portfolio link is required along with your CV, illustrating your UX work and iteration on the user experience for technical software. Existing long term UK work permission without sponsorship is required.
