The venture fellowship offers a unique opportunity for you to gain first-hand experience in venture capital - exposing you to deep tech early stage transformational technologies, business analysis techniques and the review of potential commercialisation opportunities and market sector applications.
Mentored by a member of our Early Stage Investment Team you will be tasked with assessing a selected emerging technology space, its competitive landscape and the market dynamics. You will present your research in the form of a deep dive market map and industry report, including scientific summaries and real-life use cases of the breakthrough technology, combined with identifying leading researchers and (if applicable) companies in the field.
We are particular keen to hear from you if your PhD is in the area of Quantum Technologies, AI & Cybersecurity, Novel Materials or Life Sciences.
Requirements:
· Enrolled in a PhD programme in STEM in the UK
· Strong analytical and communication skills
· Committed to 3-5 hours a week
· Attend weekly meetings with Investment Managers and/or Associates
· Genuine interest in startups, innovation, and entrepreneurship
