Andrew Howe, chief executive of technology incubator Sentec in Hills Road, is stepping down.
Chief executive leaves Sentec
Mr Howe, one of the founders, is reported to be leaving the company to pursue other business interests, but will stay on the board as a non-executive director.
Richard King, chairman, said: 'Andrew was responsible for taking a two-person concern and rapidly growing it in just four years into one of the fastest growing high tech companies in the UK.
'It did this without raising external funding and transformed a capital outlay of some 125,000 into a turnover of 2.2 million, which is a real achievement.
'I very much regret that Andrew is leaving, and wish him every success.'
Mr Howe said: 'Creating and building Sentec has been enormously satisfying. I have taken great personal pride in the company's success this year in the Deloitte Fast 50 listings.
'I am now looking forward to pursuing other challenging career opportunities.'
Sentec won 24th place in the Deloitte & Touche Fast Growth UK Top 50 list and 41st in the European Top 500.
