Deloitte launches new service line with senior appointment

Aileen Crooks has joined professional services firm, Deloitte, to head up a new Reorganisation Services practice in Cambridge.

A qualified Insolvency Practitioner, Ms Crooks has over 14 years' experience in corporate recovery and restructuring, as well as both corporate and personal insolvency. She is expert in providing advice to stakeholders of under-performing businesses, to enable them to maximise their recoveries.

Office Senior Partner, Andy Swarbrick, commented: 'The addition of a Reorganisation Services practice to the Cambridge office broadens our offering to clients and further supports our unstinting commitment to client service and quality. We are delighted to welcome Aileen to the office to head up and build this new capability.'

Ms Crooks has worked with PwC and, most recently, Baker Tilly in Ipswich. She said: 'It's an exciting time to be joining Deloitte and launching a new service locally. For businesses underperforming, seeking advice early can enable necessary restructuring work to be carried out and help a business to get back on track. And recent changes brought in by the Enterprise Act have created greater flexibility and provided more options to struggling businesses than ever before.'
