All are welcome at Milton Children’s Hospice carol service

08-12-2008

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) would like to invite you to a Carol service at Great St Mary’s Church, Cambridge, on Friday 19th December.

EACH provides care and support for local life-threatened children and their families in the hospice at Milton, and in family homes throughout the region.

Everyone is welcome to come along to the carol service, which will be taken by Reverend David Chamberlin, the Rector of Milton. The service starts at 7.30pm, and here will be a retiring collection in aid of EACH.

EACH aim to maximise the quality of life for children with life-threatening conditions and complex healthcare needs, and to support their families. Care and support is delivered in the family home or at one of the three hospices in Quidenham (Norfolk), Milton (Cambs) and Ipswich (Suffolk). Some children may only have a very short time to live, perhaps only weeks or months, others may reach early adulthood but EACH’s aim is always the same – to enhance their quality of life and support their family.

This year it is anticipated that it will cost around £5.5 million to run all three hospice services - approximately 75% of this is required from voluntary donations.
