A Cambridgeshire village may seem a long way from the bustle of the market square, but it’s only three miles (a quick drive or short cycle ride) to The Plough at Coton, run from 2015 by the team behind long-established, central Cambridge indie Don Pasquale.

The interior is cool, contemporary and really comfortable and the menu is pretty mouth-watering too. And so it should be, with the use of locally sourced produce and carefully chosen ingredients. The food and menus are designed for pretty much any occasion – from a lazy lunch, to a night out with the family or celebratory dinner (Sunday roasts being a particular favourite).

From lunches and lighter dishes to the full A La Carte menu, the team at The Plough firmly believes in keeping food fresh and interesting and is committed to working with local suppliers and producers whenever possible.

In addition to the main seating is The Grain Store – a beautifully designed private dining area for up to 18 guests. And when the weather is good, there’s a fully-serviced terrace with 70 seats and a huge garden area with play equipment and more tables.

The Plough is a real destination pub – for walkers and cyclists, families, businesses and locals alike.
