Sepura has received recognition from the critical communications industry by winning three awards at the 2019 Critical Communications Awards held at CCW.

Sepura won “Best Use of Critical Communications in Vertical Markets” for their installation of STP8X radios and applications at Shell’s refinery plant in Singapore. In addition Sepura was recognised for their implementation of a full site communications system at Heathrow Airport walking away with the award for “Best Use of Critical Communications in Transport” whilst long serving technology specialist Mark Rayne was rewarded for his “Outstanding Contribution to Critical Communications” for his dedicated work in developing industry wide standards for TETRA.

The three awards were the highlight of a show that saw Sepura introduce their new SCG22 mobile TETRA radio to complement their market-leading SC2 Series hand-portables, whilst also showcasing the all-new Over The Air Programming (OTAP) capability that delivers significant cost and time savings to fleet managers around the world.

CCW returns to Europe in 2020 in Madrid.
