Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust’s (ACT) Give a Gift this Christmas Appeal allows supporters to choose a gift to help make Addenbrooke's even better for staff and patients at this special time of year.

From soothing hand massages to ease pain and distress and cosy clothing which keeps elderly patients warm, encouraging them to keep mobile, to special sensory play equipment to amuse and delight a child in hospital over Christmas, ACT’s special appeal allows supporters to choose a gift and show patients that they care. Supporters can also donate £5 to help buy refreshments to keep A&E staff going during the busy winter months at a time when they often have very few breaks.

Gemma Downham, ACT’s Director of Fundraising, said: “Our new appeal gives the public a chance to help make Addenbrooke’s even better for patients and staff, allowing us to support the hospital and make it a nicer place to be at this time of year.”
