A ‘Powerhouse of Tomorrow’: Cambridge Intelligence wins national award

Cambridge Intelligence has been named one of Britain’s most exciting and disruptive new businesses.

At an awards ceremony yesterday evening, Cambridge Intelligence was named one of the EverLine Future 50 – a nationwide program recognising Britain’s most exciting and disruptive young companies.

The award was presented at a party attended by entrepreneurs, journalists, politicians and angel investors in Old Street at the heart of London’s digital start-up scene.

Launched in 2011, The Future 50 is a nationwide programme to identify and support the companies that will be ‘the powerhouses’ of tomorrow. Other 2014 winners included identity fraud specialists Contego, Money transfer innovators Moni, and LawBite, an online legal service offering ‘simple law for small companies’.

Of the award, Cambridge Intelligence Digital Marketing Manager, Andrew Disney said: “It’s a great honour to be recognised as a trailblazer by Real Business and the EverLine Future50 judges. This award is testament to the innovative research and development we do every day, building truly unique visualisation software that helps our customers overcome the big data challenge and make better decisions."

This latest award comes just a few days after the Cambridge data visualisation company announced it had doubled its client list in only six months. This rapid growth has led to a recruitment drive and a move out of the ideaSpace enterprise accelerator into their own offices in the spring.
