Acteon Communication and Learning is a finalist in four categories of the 2013 Training Journal Awards.
Acteon finalist in four Training Journal Awards categories
The Cambridge-based training and communication consultancy has been selected as a finalist in the following categories: Best training programme (commercial), Best use of technology in learning, Best change management programme and Best operational programme.
“We’re very proud to be a finalist in these prestigious awards,” said Owen Rose, a managing partner at Acteon. “The training programmes are making a transformational difference in the workplace and that’s what we set out to do. It’s great when that is recognised.”
Acteon’s work for the UK care company HC-One is highlighted in the awards selections. HC-One specialises in Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist Care in homes throughout the UK.
“We have set ourselves the goal at HC-One to be the kindest care home operator in the UK.” said HC-One Chairman, Dr. Chai Patel. “HC-One's goals are about culture change. Acteon's work has – quite simply – been critical to our success. We wouldn't have been able to achieve the changes, the communication, the programmes of learning and development that we wanted to – in the way we wanted to – without their competencies and the skill sets that they bring.”
This dynamic new business of 15,000 staff was faced with huge challenges of staff development and engagement. Acteon helped HC-One put an exciting new blended learning programme at the heart of business transformation. One year after its launch, HC-One people have completed an impressive 280,000 training courses across a blend of e-learning and face-to-face programmes.
Acteon, four-time Gold E-learning Award winners and finalists for E-learning project of the year in 2012, has also been selected as finalists in this year’s E-learning Awards in categories: E-learning project of the year, Excellence in the production of e-learning content and Best use of e-learning to ensure compliance.
The Training Journal Award winners will be announced on November 27th at a banquet in London.
