The seminar is being held this week, on the evening of Thursday 30th June at Addenbrooke's and Mr Stamp will be describing the ambitious plans for Addenbrooke's, not just as a hospital, but as a research facility, a centre of excellence and the potential epicentre of Cambridge's biomedical community. Other speakers include Professor Carlos Caldas, the distinguished oncologist and Dr Matthew Gaved, a biomedical entrepreneur.
The seminar has been organised by the CETC's hon secretary, Guy Mulley, who is also a committee member of the Friends of Addenbrooke's. The CETC is donating the fees from the seminar to the Fund & Friends Of Addenbrooke's, the charitable fund-raising arm of the Hospital.
