Adder Technology, a global specialist in connectivity and IP KVM, will be bringing the world’s first dual-head high performance, 4K IP KVM matrix over a single fibre to IBC 2019.
Adder lands at IBC with ‘world first’ 4K IP KVM
- Dual 4K, video, audio and USB over a single fiber connection
- Easy migration to 4K without costly rip-and-replace
- Pixel-perfect, colour accurate at 4K60
- Proven to meet 4K content demand
The launch of the ADDERLink™ INFINITY 4000 Series (ALIF4000) is perfectly timed to support IP KVM users as they transition their broadcast and production environments to 4K.
John Stevens, director of engineering at Los Angeles-based post-production house, The Foundation, said, “The launch of the ALIF4000 series gives us the opportunity to take control and add 4K functionality to our existing infrastructure, as and when we need it, without having to rip and replace; meaning we can continue to meet our customers’ growing need for 4K output.”
Jamie Adkin, VP EMEA, Adder adds, “We are really excited to bring the new ADDERLink INFINITY 4000 series to IBC 2019 - it is the ideal event to showcase its capabilities. The introduction of the ALIF4000 into the ADDERLink INFINITY range means our customers can continue to reap the rewards of their existing network but now with the addition of 4K video support.”
The ALIF4000 delivers pixel-perfect, colour accurate video quality, audio, and USB to single or dual 4K screens – benefitting broadcasters, post-production professionals or VFX specialists looking to improve their workflow and increase flexibility by making 4K content accessible from a single position or location.
Full compatibility with the existing ADDERLink INFINITY range means the ALIF4000 can be phased in to an existing network without disruption, downtime or the costly need to rip and replace – giving media and broadcast professionals the access to 4K IP KVM when and where they need it most.
The ALIF4000 has been awarded three industry accolades since its launch in January 2019: ‘Best in Show’ at ISE 2019, ‘Product of the Year Award’ at NAB 2019, and ‘Best in Show Award’ at InfoComm 2019.
Joining the ALIF4000 at IBC 2019 will be the latest addition to the ADDERLink ipeps range of remote access solutions. The ADDERLink ipeps+, launched earlier this year, gives broadcasters the ability to securely manage out-of-band servers and remotely access HD video, in real-time, from anywhere in the world at up to 30 frames per second (fps).
Experience the ADDERLink INFINITY 4000 Series for the first time on the Adder Technology stand at IBC 2019 (Hall 7, Stand 7.A17), September 13th- 17th at the RAI Amsterdam.
