ANT expands

ANT, the city software firm, is moving to bigger premises on Cambridge Business Park.

The company plans to double its headcount of skilled engineers by the end of the year, and already has a total workforce of around 60.

Specialising in internet browsing and e-mail via digital set-top boxes attached to televisions, the company is anticipating boom time and now has 14,000 sq ft in which to meet it.

Major shareholders are the van Someren brothers, recently elevated to millionairedom via their company nCipher.
