Breakfast networking is on the move

The Cambridge Network team is ringing the changes for its popular Breakfast Networking events, altering venues and times to attract as many members as possible. Coming up soon are two sessions with fascinating talks - How to Be Uniquely Unforgettable on Thursday May 26th and Admitting the Possibilities of Error at Work! on Tuesday June 7th.

If you loathe networking, the first, How to Be Uniquely Unforgettable, which takes place on May 26th at Alconbury Enterprise Campus, (Alconbury, Huntingdon, PE28 4WX) in the early slot of 8-10am, is perfect for you.

If you feel awkward 'selling' your company and want to be interesting without sounding arrogant, this session - featuring Network members Jon Torrens, a communication coach, and Nick Annies, web and graphic designer at  The Cambridge Web Marketing Co - will give you tons of tips to promote your business through story-telling and online marketing.

It's back to Cambridge for the second event on June 7th, Admitting the Possibilities of Error at Work!, which will be held at the slightly later time of 9.30-11.30am at the Future Business Centre Cambridge (King’s Hedges Road, Cambridge CB4 2HY).

This workshop is designed to give you a different perspective on mistakes and the possibilities they may offer your workplace. Giving you an opportunity to experience collaboration between a visual artist and Network member Namasté Culture, you'll learn creatively through discussing errors and their place at work.

Andrea Mitchell, Cambridge Network's Events Manager, who organises breakfast networking, explains: "We want as many people as possible to be able to benefit from these excellent sessions, so we are moving venues and times to accommodate different preferences.

"Breakfast networking gives our members the opportunity, not only to demonstrate what they do, but to share valuable hints and tips. The aim is always for those attending to go away having learned something new and interesting.

"We've had some really good feedback for this kind of event and the calendar is filling up, with more sessions for later on in June and in July. Keep an eye on the website for details!"
