Business podcast: the University and entrepreneurship
Andy Neely from the University of Cambridge talks to business podcast hosts Adelina Chalmers and James Parton of Scaling, Failing and Prevailing about how the university is supporting entrepreneurship and working with businesses.
Andy Neely, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Enterprise and Business Relations at the University of Cambridge (pictured, centre, with James and Adelina), has a very wide ranging role.
In this episode, the business podcast Scaling, Failing and Prevailing hears from Andy about the programmes across the university that support entrepreneurship such as startups, spin-outs and support, and how it commercialises its research.
Andy talks about his role and the local Cambridge ecosystem - he is involved in everything around the Cambridge Cluster, and at a regional level he sits on a business board which discusses local industrial strategy.
The podcast also covers the work being done by the university, as well as looking at Brexit and its predicted impact.
