A new drug discovery company has opened offices at Babraham.
Cambridge 'ideal' site for drugs discovery company
Isogenica will create up to 20 new jobs on the research campus outside the village and is developing partnerships across Europe and the US in the race to link drugs with genes.
The company is largely Scandinavian-owned and has been helped to locate here by the East of England Investment Agency.
Dr Kevin FitzGerald, Isogenica boss, said: 'Cambridge is ideal for us. It has the largest cluster of biotech companies in Europe and is internationally recognised as a centre of scientific excellence, which endows companies in the region with immediate credibility.'
