Cambridge Network welcomes its new President

Cambridge Network is delighted to welcome its next President, the new Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge, Professor Stephen Toope.

Professor Toope met with Claire Ruskin, Cambridge Network's CEO, at the recent Accelerate East meeting chaired by George Freeman MP.

Cambridge Network is significantly involved in Accelerate East which aims to help people from all of the East of England participate in the next generation of employment and opportunity.  Claire Ruskin said: “Professor Toope showed his strong support for the group’s ambition and we are extremely pleased to continue our strong 20-year relationship with the University."

The role of President was held until October by Professor Sir Leszek Borysiewicz, who took a leading interest in the relationship between business and academic worlds, and on leaving the University was given lifelong membership of Cambridge Network.
